Mentorship & Opportunity
Kuts Not Khaos is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping youth and aspiring professionals build better futures through mentorship, barbering, cosmetology, entrepreneurship, and life skills education. Our programs are designed to create opportunities, develop confidence, and provide the guidance needed to move toward successful and independent careers.
Our Services
Programs That Create Opportunities
We provide mentorship, barbering and cosmetology training, entrepreneurship education, financial guidance, and career development programs designed to help youth and aspiring professionals build successful futures.
Youth Mentorship
- Mentorship to youth 16 & up looking into the barber/cosmetology profession.
We help youth explore barbering, cosmetology, entrepreneurship, and personal growth through mentorship and career guidance.
Summer Boot Camps
- “Discover Your Dreams” Summer boot camps (4 weeks) for youth looking into the barber/cosmetology profession.
Hands on learning programs designed to help youth build confidence, practical skills, and future career opportunities.
Barber & Cosmetology Training
- Offering cutting classes for Cosmetologists to learn to fade or Barbers that need shear training (these are at a cost to support our other work).
Professional training classes focused on improving technical barbering and cosmetology skills while supporting nonprofit youth programs.
Graduate Support
- Classes for new/recent Cosmo/barber graduates to get help with further aid in color, cutting, marketing, business set-up etc.
Helping graduates strengthen their professional skills and prepare for long term career success.
Social Media & Marketing
- Helping youth with smart social marketing.
Teaching branding, online marketing, and smart social media strategies for personal and business growth.
Professional Programs
- These boot camp classes are available for any licensed professional at a cost as well to support our youth programming.
Advanced programs for licensed professionals looking to continue learning and growing in their careers.
Financial & Business Education
- Future financial moves- insuring you being self-employed: business & Self.
- Stocks, IRAs & 401ks.
- Real Estate.
- Be your own Boss, NOT your own employee!
- LLCs, CEOs & be an employee are all classes within the boot camp.

School Partnerships & Student Support
- We partner with schools that need off-site externships during the year, as well.
- We assist with school choice and paperwork, if need, depending on route chosen by student.
